DORMANCE ALBUMS
Dormance - III
In the spring of 2026, we began working on new tracks. Being highly prolific, we decided to create two albums with slightly different atmospheres: *Dormance III* and *Dormance IV*. We also had two extended-version tracks and chose to include one on each album to create a loop—starting with the first track of the first album and returning to it at the end of the second—thereby linking the two records. This already allows us to envision a different approach for *Dormance V*
This is the first of those two albums. The other half of the loop, Dormance IV, will be released on the Mahorka label early in 2027.

Moving away from sample based creations Iliaque says about his latest release
"These three tracks are working drafts that may maybe lead to something else.
But the idea was to release them as they are, these long soundscapes standing on their own in a raw version, to preserve their essence."
French artists Sobria Ebrietas & iliaque continue their frequent collaborations with Déluge, the final release in an arc of four collaborations across four labels.

Iliaque is a project of one of the co-founders of Ziklibrenbib, a French project to promote Creative Commons (CC) music. After having played in different noisy pop, industrial, electro and math rock groups, fascinated by netlabels and musicians working under CC, he decided to try his hand at an electronic music project based on CC material. The Iliaque project, seeks to exploit the potential of CC music and explores this world through choice of sources and samples.
